Taking Action in Supervisorial District 2
for Open Space, Trails, and Outdoor Recreation in Sonoma County

The 2nd Supervisorial District comprises the southern part of Sonoma County, including all of the Petaluma Valley.

We suggest you begin by learning about the issues in our reference library. Review your district's tax expenditures for open space, and what it has received in the way of public access to open space in return. Read about the political insiders who have been working against public access to open space in our county.

Note in the drive time analysis that the Petaluma area is the most underserved part of the county in terms of distance to parklands. CORP's analysis of the Open Space District's acquisitions by district show District 2 is falling even further behind, with no trail easements and the fewest potential parkland acres in the county.
