Taking Action in Supervisorial District 5
for Open Space, Trails, and Outdoor Recreation in Sonoma County

The 5th Supervisorial District comprises the western part of Sonoma County including Sebastopol, the lower Russian River communities, and the coast.

We suggest you begin by learning about the issues in our reference library. Review your district's tax expenditures for open space, and what it has received in the way of public access to open space in return. Read about the political insiders who have been working against public access to open space in our county.

The major open space issue in the 5th District in recent months has been the potential acquisition by the Open Space District of Bohemia Ranch (Waterfall Park) for a park. This issue has been well covered in the local press, including the Press Democrat, so we have not belabored it here.
